The City of Dalton, Georgia Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Program Manager.  This position is responsible for supervision of our Recreation Coordinator and Therapeutic Coordinator, hiring and training new employees, overseeing work schedules and performance evaluations, discipline of employees as needed.  

Ideal applicants will have a bachelor’s degree in Parks and Recreation Administration, Recreation Management or related field; extensive management and administrative experience in event and program planning; or any equivalent combination of acceptable education and experience. Professional Certifications are desirable but not required- Certifications are Certified Parks & Recreation Professional (CPRP) and CPR and First Aid.
