The City of Dalton is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of Recycling Sorter Processor for the Dalton Whitfield Solid Waste Authority. This position will be responsible for assisting in the sorting processing, receiving, shipping and transfer of a variety of materials from residential, commercial and industrial sources, delivered to the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), located at 4189 Old Dixie Highway, Dalton, Georgia. Duties also include assisting in the supervision of inbound delivery vehicles and their drivers. The starting pay is $19.02 per hour.
